An interesting Lightweight showdown has been booked to go down at an upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) “Fight Night” event, as Drew Dober has been booked to throw hands opposite Carlos Diego Ferreira on Nov. 7, 2020.
Dober (No. 15) is currently riding a three-fight win streak and has won six of his last seven fights inside the Octagon. More recently Dober was seen knocking out Alexander Hernandez this past May.
Ferreira (No. 8), meanwhile, has been on a tear, winning six straight fights, including big wins over Kyle Nelson and Mairbek Taisumov. In his previous outing, Ferreira defeated former Lightweight champion Anthony Pettis via rear-naked choke at UFC 246 this past January. A win over Dober could be just what the Brazilian bomber needs to crack the Top 5 of a highly-competitive 155-pound division.
The event currently doesn’t have an event headliner, but does feature a women's Strawweight fight between Claudia Gadelha and Yan Xiaonan, as well as Ian Heinisch facing Brendan Allen in Middleweight action.
