The media has been alerted — toll the bells!
Just before Bellator 245: “Davis vs. Machida 2” on Sept. 11, 2020, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. (simulcasting on Paramount Network and DAZN at 10 p.m. ET), there will be a “special announcement” from Bellator MMA President, Scott Coker, at 2 p.m. ET.
Many among you will suspect this is related to previous reports that stated Bellator MMA will move from Paramount Network to CBS Sports starting this month. Bellator has never officially confirmed those reports, so today could be the day it all comes to a head.
That said, there’s no reason to think Mr. Coker couldn’t pull a rabbit out of his hat and surprise all of us with something else altogether. When we know we’ll bring you all of the latest details.
