Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in action this Sat. night (Aug. 8, 2020) with the UFC Vegas 6 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, locked and loaded for the UFC APEX facility and headlined by a titanic tilt between heavyweight bruisers Derrick Lewis and Aleksei Oleinik.
Before the action gets underway this weekend in “Sin City,” which also features a co-main event between former middleweight champion Chris Weidman and ex-welterweight slugger Omari Akhmedov, some of the top names from the main card were assembled for a virtual media day.
Dumb questions, vague answers ... you know the drill by now.
Elsewhere on the card, which streams entirely on ESPN+, Yana Kunitskaya returns to action against the rough-and-tumble Julija Stoliarenko, while lightweight submission specialist Beneil Dariush collides with 155-pound stalwart Scott Holtzman. It should be a pretty good night of fights as we patiently wait for UFC 252 later this month.
