Video: Armed Feds raid Jake Paul’s house, status of Tyson-Jones Jr. boxing match uncertain (Updated)

Update: FBI agents seized multiple firearms during a raid that was connected to a riot at an Arizona shopping mall last June in Scottsdale, Arizona.

YouTube personality and part-time celebrity boxer Jake Paul was back in the headlines this week after federal agents raided his house in Calabasas, California. I don’t know if machine guns and armored vehicles are a part of every raid, but that was some serious firepower for a social media goon.

“The affidavit in support of the search warrant is sealed and we are, therefore, prohibited from commenting as to the nature of the investigation,” the FBI said in a statement to ABC7. As of this writing, no arrest warrants are expected from today’s raid.

Paul blasted his way into the “sweet science” last January with a first-round knockout over fellow streamer “AnEsonGib” and will make his return to the squared circle against former NBA star Nate Robinson.

Their boxing bout is currently scheduled for the “Prelims” portion of the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. pay-per-view (PPV) fight card, on tap for Sat., Sept. 12, 2020 inside Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
