UFC on ESPN 15 results: Mike Rodriguez melts Marcin Prachnio with brutal elbow for first-round knockout win

Marcin Prachnio and Mike Rodriguez faced off in a Light Heavyweight bout tonight (Sat., Aug. 22, 2020) at UFC on ESPN 15 from UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Prachnio opened the fight with a pair of low kicks. Rodriguez stalked his foe, but the two simply traded kicks. Rodriguez attacked with a jump knee then a takedown attempt. Prachnio stopped the shot and reversed his foe into the fence briefly. Rodriguez landed a big knee and an elbow from the double-collar tie. Another elbow sent Prachnio to the mat, completely unconscious.

Rodriguez ran straight through Prachnio in the clinch. Once “Slo” secured the double-collar tie, his visibly smaller opponent simply could not escape the clinch. From there, Rodriguez dropped HAMMERS to likely send his opponent back to the regional scene.

Result: Mike Rodriguez defeats Marcin Prachnio via first-round knockout
