Another middleweight banger is in the works as former UFC title challenger Darren Till is expected to meet rising contender Jack Hermansson at UFC’s upcoming event on December 5, per a recent report by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.
The middleweight bout is expected to serve as the main event, but Till must first get medically cleared after suffering a knee injury in his last fight.

Till, 27, is coming off a main event loss to former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker back at UFC Fight Island 3 this past July. Despite the loss, Till showcased the skills needed to fight alongside the best at 185 pounds, even staggering Whittaker a few times throughout their main event clash. Till remains one of the most promising contenders in the middleweight division and can help right the ship heading into 2021 with a big win over Hermansson. Let’s just hope “Gorilla” recovers from suffering a knee injury in his loss to Whittaker.
Hermansson, 32, has been on an absolute tear since getting finished by Thiago Santos back in 2017. Since then, “Joker” has produced a very impressive 5-1 record inside of the cage, finishing four of those bouts by TKO or submission. Hermansson’s last trip to the Octagon saw him stop former title challenger Kelvin Gastelum via first-round heel hook (highlights HERE). If the Swedish fighter is able to produce a similar finish against Till it will be hard to pass him up for a title shot his next time out.
