The mixed martial arts (MMA) gods smiled down on veteran fighter Levan Makashvili earlier today (Fri., Aug. 21, 2020) at ACA 109 in Lodz, Poland, as the former UFC fighter finished lightweight counterpart Roman Dik via second-round knockout (punches).
Prior to the knockout finish, Dik was seen taunting Makashvili along the cage. Dik threw his hands in the air calling for Makashvili to push forward and exchange more offense. Makashvili kept his composure, found his range, and unleashed the finishing sequence just moments later. The final left hook left Dik unconscious on the canvas.

Makashvili, 31, helped improve his overall professional record to 18-3-1 with the second-round knockout finish. The former UFC fighter is now 6-1 since parting ways with the promotion back in 2016. A few more finishes like this one above could land Makashvili back inside of the Octagon sometime in the near future.
What do you make of this finish, Maniacs? Is it every worth it to taunt a fighter just feet away from you?
Let’s hear it!
