Submission! Watch Paul Craig choke out Gadzhimurad Antigulov at UFC on ESPN 14

Paul Craig pulled off yet another beautiful submission finish earlier tonight (Sat., July 25, 2020) at UFC on ESPN 14 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside Flash Forum on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, when “Bearjew” caught Russian veteran Gadzhimurad Antigulov in a triangle choke early into the first round.

It didn’t take Antigulov long to move inside and close the gap on the taller Craig to begin the fight. He took “Bearjew” down along the cage and landed in top control ready to score punches. Unfortunately for Antigulov, Craig quickly transitioned into a triangle attempt. Antigulov fell victim as Craig tightened his grip and eventually forced the tap.

With this performance, Craig scores his fifth submission finish as a member of the UFC’s light heavyweight division. The 32-year-old veteran has certainly experienced his lows at 205 pounds, but Craig’s best performances are some of the most entertaining around, including the above. We’ll see how long he can keep it up as his success propels him closer to the top 15.
