The upcoming UFC Fight Night event set to go down on June 20, 2020, in Las Vegas, Nevada, just got two late guests to the face-punching party. According to MMA Fighting, a Lightweight bout between Clay Guida and Bobby Green is expected to take place at the ESPN+-streamed event.
Guida was last seen coming up short against Jim Miller in Aug. 2019, losing in the first round via guillotine. Prior to that, the long-time UFC veteran earned a unanimous decision win over B.J. Penn. This will be fight No. 29 for Guida inside the Octagon.
As for Green, he has had a rough go as of late, losing his last two fights to Francisco Trinaldo and Drakkar Klose. Over his last seven fights, “King” has gone a paltry 1-5-1. The former Strikeforce import needs a big win here if he wants to avoid a dreaded pink slip.
The event — which is set to go down inside UFC APEX — will feature a Heavyweight bout between heavy-handed big men Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov. In addition, Raquel Pennington and Marion Reneau will throw down in women’s Bantamweight action.
