Bellator 205 “McKee vs. Macapa” went down Sept. 21, 2018, at CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho. Undefeated phenom “Mercenary” A.J. McKee (11-0) faced the toughest test of his career to date from veteran “Macapa” John Teixeira (21-3-2) in the main event.
McKee was brimming with confidence heading to Idaho for the fight and did not disappoint with his performance. He was not the only fighter on the main card to have a good night — Rafael Lovato Jr., Veta Arteaga and “Pitbull” Patricky Freire all found finishes in their fights, giving the televised broadcast a perfect batting average.
