UFC 248 results live online: Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) on Sat., March 7, 2020 with the return of the promotion’s most exciting up-and-coming champion, Israel Adesanya, who tangled with No. 3-ranked Middleweight contender, Yoel Romero, in a five-round main event that company President Dana White said “sucked,” ... and that could actually be putting it nicely (watch highlights). In UFC 248’s co-headliner, which emanated from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, former women’s Strawweight champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, attempted to reclaim her title from dynamic 115-pound queenpin, Weili Zhang; however, it didn’t go her way. It was a fight for the ages, though (watch highlights), with Jedrzejczyk sacrificing significant physical injury only to come up just short to her dynamic Chinese counterpart (see judges scorecards).
