‘Hustling’ Francis Ngannou under fire for ‘cashing in’ with cut-rate hand sanitizer

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight title contender, Francis Ngannou, probably thought he was doing his good deed for the day when dropped a link to discount hand sanitizer on Twitter, one of many items — alongside toilet paper — that are in great demand as the world battles the coronavirus pandemic.

But judging by the negative reactions on social media, not everyone is on board with Ngannou’s latest pitch, accusing the power-punching “Predator” of “cashing in” during a global crisis, perhaps forgetting that fighters who don’t fight have no other means of income.

Ngannou (14-3) has not competed since finishing Junior dos Santos at UFC Minneapolis last June on ESPN. “The Predator” was expected to make his Octagon return against Jairzinho Rozenstruik later this month in Columbus; however, that event was postponed due to coronavirus.

UFC President, Dana White, is expected to reschedule their heavyweight bout for later this year.
