Knockout! Watch Song Kenan send Callan Potter whirling to the canvas at UFC Auckland

Rising welterweight prospect Song Kenan made the most out of his trip to the Octagon earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 22, 2020) at UFC Fight Night 168 live on ESPN+ from inside Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, when he finished Australia native Callan Potter via first-round knockout (punches).

Despite early efforts by Potter to make this a grappling match inside the clinch and on the mat, Kenan was able to separate on the feet and keep his distance. That’s when the Chinese fighter started to land combinations at will. Potter did little to defend as he retreated away from the center of the Octagon and Kenan was able to land a decisive right hand that put “Rockstar” away.

With this performance, Kenan not only locks down his fourth win in UFC competition but he also produces his third memorable knockout finish inside of the Octagon. The 29-year-old welterweight hasn’t fought anybody of considerable notoriety, but it may be time for UFC to pit Kenan’s power against a more established name at 170 pounds.
