Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight contender Jack Hermansson will headline the upcoming UFC Vegas 16 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on ESPN+ this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, taking on streaking 185-pound standout Marvin Vettori.
And now they have an official poster.
Hermansson (21-5) is currently ranked No. 4 in the division and has now captured five of his last six, including last July’s first-round submission over Kelvin Gastelum. He was originally expected to collide with Kevin Holland; however, “Trailblazer” was felled by coronavirus.
As for Vettori (15-4-1), who sits just outside the Top 10 at No. 13, he’s coming off three straight wins following his split-decision loss to middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, including last June’s submission victory over veteran bruiser Karl Roberson.
UFC Vegas 16 will also feature the light heavyweight showdown between Jamahal Hill and Ovince Saint Preux, while Taila Santos and Montana De La Rosa collide in women’s flyweight action. In addition, Jake Collier returns to the heavyweight scene opposite Gian Villante.
