UFC President Dana White has been a staunch supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump and campaigned for the Atlantic City casino mogul ahead of both the 2016 and 2020 elections. Unfortunately for their longstanding bromance, it appears Democratic nominee Joe Biden is poised to take office next year.
But White doesn’t expect much to change on his end.
“Like Biden’s gonna come after me? I don’t think Biden even knows who I am,” White told MMA Junkie at the “Contender Series” post-fight press conference. “I don’t think Biden knows who Biden is (laughs). I had to do it. I don’t think so, who knows? I don’t know.”
Biden, who turns 78 later this month, has been criticized for his erratic public speaking and foggy memory, often being referred to as “Sleepy” Joe Biden from the Trump administration. How that factors into his presidency — assuming he wins — remains to be seen.
As for Tito Ortiz being elected to City Council?
“Good for him,” White said. “Good for him.”
