Brandon Royval suffered a separated shoulder in his TKO loss to flyweight contender Brandon Moreno earlier tonight (Sat., Nov. 21, 2020) at UFC 255 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The injury happened during a scramble on the ground late into the first round. Moreno had threatened Royval with submission attempts and ground-and-pound before “Raw Dawg” tried to break his grip. Unfortunately, Royval popped his shoulder out when he tried to escape and it allowed Moreno to punch his way to a massive win.
After the loss, Royval’s coach stepped in to pop his fighter’s shoulder back into place. Watch it above if you aren’t squeamish.
