Another week, another disastrous UFC weigh-in event.

The promotion was hoping to send all 24 fighters to the scale ahead of tomorrow night’s (Sat., Nov. 14, 2020) UFC Vegas 14 MMA event on ESPN+, which takes place inside the promotion's APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Only 22 made it to the stage and of that batch, three came in heavy.

Light heavyweight veteran Saparbeg Safarov, who now competes at middleweight, was yanked from the card after failing to overcome “weight management issues.” That means opponent Julian Marquez will be left high and dry.

In addition, three other fighters missed weight including co-headliner Abdul Razak Alhassan. “Judo Thunder” landed at 172.5 for his Kalinn Williams fight. Elsewhere on the card, Eryk Anders missed the middleweight limit by 1.5 pounds, while Louis Smolka came in at 139 pounds for his bantamweight brawl opposite Jose Quinonez.
