Huge mural in Dagestan pays tribute to Khabib’s late father | Video

A huge mural was recently painted in Derbent City, Dagestan, paying tribute to Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov — father of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov — who passed away earlier this year because of complications brought on by COVID-19.

The original piece was created by none other than “Bosslogic” — one of the absolute best digital artists in the game today — shortly after Nurmagomedov submitted Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 (see it again here).

After the fight, “The Eagle” announced his retirement from mixed martial arts (MMA), stating that he promised his mother he would not continue his combat career without his father by his side. Nevertheless, a few weeks later, UFC President, Dana White, hinted at the possibility of Khabib returning for one more fight to fulfill his father’s desire to go out at a perfect 30-0.

“Bosslogic’s” work (real name Kode Abdo) has been featured in Invicta FC, as well as Marvel’s “Endgame,” among others.
