Mike Perry offers fans the chance to pay him to be in his corner for Robbie Lawler fight at UFC 255

In his last fight against Mickey Gall this past June, Mike Perry saved money by not utilizing a full team of cornermen, opting to just have his girlfriend in his corner for a fight that he ended up winning via unanimous decision. Now, “Platinum” is taking it up a notch. This time around he isn’t only saving money, but he’s going to be making some, too.

That’s because the hard-hitting striker is offering one lucky fan the opportunity to pay him to be in his corner alongside the future mother of his child.

Seriously ...

Whether or not any athletic commission actually let’s that slide is another story.

Perry is set to face off against Robbie Lawler at UFC 255 on Nov. 21, 2020, in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will be Perry’s first fight since he was put on ice by the promotion after he was captured on video knocking out an older gentleman inside a restaurant in Lubbock, Texas (footage here).

Despite going just 3-5 in his last eight bouts, Perry has quite a loyal fan base because of his exciting, push-the-pace style of fighting, so he likely won’t have an issue getting some overzealous fan with money to burn to pay for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
