Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently tied a ribbon around its UFC 254 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which took place last Sat. night (Oct. 24, 2020) inside Flash Forum on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi. That’s where Khabib Nurmagomedov retired shortly after retaining his lightweight title by choking out Justin Gaethje.

In the UFC 254 co-headliner, former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker went to war with power-punching contender Jared Cannonier. After three rounds of back-and-forth action, “The Reaper” captured a unanimous decision victory and a spot atop the 185-pound title chase. In addition, Alexander Volkov returned to form by stopping heavyweight bruiser Walt Harris.
