Knockout! Watch Tai Tuivasa demolish Stefan Struve in the first at UFC 254

Tai Tuivasa returned to the UFC heavyweight win column earlier today (Sat., Oct. 24, 2020) live on ESPN+ PPV from inside Flash Forum on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., as “Bam Bam” stopped veteran Stefan Struve via first-round knockout (punches).

Tuivasa had to get past a massive reach advantage by Struve but was able to get inside and score some good offense early. Struve’s leg kicks and front kicks kept him in the fight, but Tuivasa turned it up towards the end of the first. He captured Struve against the cage and landed powerful uppercuts and combinations that eventually dropped “Skyscraper.” A few more shots and the referee stepped in.

With this performance, Tuivasa gets back in the UFC win column after dropping his last three Octagon appearances. The 27-year-old recently made a move to American Kickboxing Academy and dropped some weight to slim down and it seems to be doing wonders. “Bam Bam” looked great tonight and remains one of the more talented up-and-comers in the UFC’s growing heavyweight division.
