Well, like comedian Martin Lawrence once asked about Michael Jackson during his “Talkin’ Shit” album ... “How many motherfuckas can say they jammin’ in Bucharest?”
Similarly, UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov arrived at “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi to a hero’s welcome from one of his hazmat fanboys, who is so excited to see “The Eagle” make his return to U.A.E. that he can barely contain himself.
Nurmagomedov was one of several fighters profiled in Episode 1 of UFC 254 “Embedded,” a behind-the-scenes look at fight week as main card fighters work their way overseas and try to acclimate to their surroundings prior to this weekend’s (Sat., Oct. 24, 2020) pay-per-view (PPV) card.
Walt Harris, Lauren Murphy, Justin Gaethje, Sam Alvey and Jared Cannonier also get screen time, as does former Bellator MMA lightweight champion Michael Chandler, who made the trip to Abu Dhabi to serve as back up to the Khabib vs. Gaethje main event.
