It’s been quite an interesting year for Mike Perry. Aside from getting back in the win column against Mickey Gall, the hard-hitting Welterweight recently found out that he is set to be a first-time father. But it wasn’t all good news for “Platinum” in 2020, as he was caught on tape putting hands on an older gentleman inside a restaurant in Lubbock, Texas. Now, Perry has taken another hit in his up-and-down year after posting photos of his wrecked Mercedes on Instagram.
While it’s unclear exactly what happened, the good news is that “Platinum” seems to have escaped the accident unscathed, though his caption indicates that his $60,000 luxury car is now totaled.
Perry is set to make his return to action against Robbie Lawler at UFC 255 on Nov. 12, 2020, in what is sure-to-be a thrilling striking affair that has the potential to earn him some post-fight bonus cash. That would definitely go a long way in helping him purchase another vehicle.
