Cris Cyborg has now captured world titles in Ultimate Fighter Championship (UFC), Strikeforce, Invicta FC, and Bellator MMA after taking out Bellator women’s featherweight champion Julia Budd last night (Sat., Jan. 25, 2020) at Bellator 238 live on DAZN from inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., with a definitive fourth-round TKO finish.

Outside of a few moments on her back, Cyborg dominated this fight from the opening bell. The Brazilian’s pressure on the feet with combinations and willingness to drag Budd to the canvas for some good old fashioned ground-and-pound was quite impressive, ultimately culminating with another patented Cyborg finish.

It may have happened later than some expected, but Cyborg was able to hurt Budd along the cage in the beginning of Round 4. Bud tried to cover up and mix in some short counter punches but Cyborg closed in with heavy combinations to the head, body, and legs. A sharp right hand to Budd’s stomach forced the Bellator champion to the canvas and allowed Cyborg to put the finishing touches on another world title win.
