Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is kicking off the New Year with a brand-spanking new promo video for the upcoming UFC 246 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which is set to go down inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Jan. 18, 2020.
The event will feature the highly-anticipated return of Conor McGregor, who will step foot inside the Octagon for the first time in 15 months after failing in his bid to dethrone current Lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, at UFC 229 in Oct. 2018.
Scheduled to go down in the Welterweight division, McGregor is eyeing a shot at redemption against “The Eagle” should all the pieces of the puzzle fall into place, which includes not only “Notorious” wrangling in “Cowboy,” but Khabib defeating Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 in April.
That said, Cerrone and “El Cucuy” are keen on spoiling those plans. With just three weeks left to go until fight night, you can expect the promotion to ramp up its marketing efforts for the event that sold out in a matter of minutes.
