Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Fake foes became friends in Abu Dhabi.
Continuing with his new “Triple C” persona, Henry Cejudo made headlines with his “wacky” callout of Valentina Shevchenko about a month ago. Though obvious to all paying attention that it was just another part of Cejudo’s goofy gimmick, Cejudo’s bizarre callout actually resulted in quite a bit of attention.
Somehow, both Cejudo and Shevchenko wound up hanging out together in Abu Dhabi ahead of UFC 242. Per a report from MMA Junkie, the two were immediately friendly. The pair squared off and posed for pictures, some of which included Shevchenko putting the double-champ in a rear naked choke while he yelled out, “No Mas!”
The posts have since been deleted, but nothing is ever truly gone from the web.

Now for the real question... think any bookies are going to honor bets placed on Shevchenko as a result of these pictures?!? At any rate, it will be interesting to see if Cejudo continues his public call-outs of Shevchenko after these pictures spread around.
Insomnia
Everyone wants a piece of the cringe!
I’ve said it once before and I’ll say it again: the MMA world is overlooking Dustin Poirier.
Scrambled legs.

Congratulations to Amanda Nunes for inclusion in the ESPN ‘Body Issue.’
It’s great to see Thiago Santos looking cheery after his earlier post-surgery struggle.
Slips, rips, and KO clips
A well-timed knee to the body can be a game-changer:

I’m definitely in favor of legalizing knees to a downed opponent. This is great execution!

It’s never good to wake up between the ropes.
The last time we saw @usykaa, he was "takin' souls out here"
