The UFC 244 press conference was held last Thursday night in New York City to help promote the upcoming “Masvidal vs. Diaz” pay-per-view (PPV) fight card this November inside Madison Square Garden, a mixed martial arts (MMA) event that will crown its first (and only) “Bad Mother Fucker.”
That’s a pretty lofty title to use in a place like the “Big Apple” and we would be remiss in our duties if we failed to find out how the average UFC fan felt about Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz fighting for the promotion's streetwise strap.
Tasked with such a thankless job is Brooklyn’s own Matt Ryan. You may remember him from such roles as “Fat Guy On A Couch” and “Beard Science.” It also helps that he’s the only one here at MMAmania.com with an actual personality, so we dug out a camera from the Mania storage closet and turned him loose.
In addition to the slam-bang headliner, UFC 244 will feature a bevy of fan-friendly fights, including Derrick Lewis vs. Blagoy Ivanov and Kelvin Gastelum vs. Darren Till. Elsewhere on the card, Johnny Walker looks to continue his highlight-reel run opposite Corey Anderson.
