Rising heavyweight contender Augusto Sakai made easy work of veteran Marcin Tybura earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 14, 2019) at UFC Fight Night 158 live on ESPN+ from inside Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, when he finished the Polish big man via knockout just 59 seconds into the very first round.
Sakai wasted little time advancing along the cage and clobbering Tybura with a heavy right hand. Tybura’s legs buckled and Sakai moved in. Heavy combinations followed included relentless right hands over the top that eventually toppled the Polish heavyweight and forced the referee’s hand.

With this performance, Sakai has now won his first three Octagon appearances which includes two knockout victories and a decision over former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski. The 28-year-old Brazilian looks to be the real deal in a growing heavyweight division and should have no problem locking down a shot at the top 10 his next time around.
