Former NFL star Greg Hardy made his third Octagon appearance earlier tonight (Sat., July 20, 2019) at UFC on ESPN 4 live on ESPN from inside AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas, and ended up finishing heavyweight counterpart Juan Adams via TKO just 45 seconds into the first round.
This one didn’t last long as both men came out swinging. Hardy got hit a few times before finding a home on Adams’ chin. Adams then shot in for a takedown and Hardy turned him over to gain top position. From there, Hardy would land more than a dozen punches to the side of Adams’ head. The referee warned Adams to move but the heavyweight was too disoriented to do anything to keep the fight going.

With this performance, Hardy locks down his second UFC win and takes out another hopeful heavyweight looking to stop the “Prince of War” hype train. Hardy is going to get handed stiffer competition moving forward and will certainly have to step his game up, but this had to be a sweet win for the former Dallas Cowboys player.
