Bottle cap challenge? I’m still pouring ice water over my head.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion, Max Holloway, just completed the “Bottle Cap Challenge” on social media, then punted to pop star John Mayer and designer Errolson Hugh.
So uh ... I guess the “challenge” is to kick the cap and unscrew it without it flying off and blinding the camera guy (or gal) holding the bottle? And if you can’t execute said challenge ... then what? Should I be donating to something important?
I know Mayer has to fly to Hawaii and hang with Holloway if he can’t get it done, but somehow I don’t think that same invitation extends to me or the average combat sports fan looking for 15 minutes of social media fame.
Anyway, let’s hope Holloway can keep that same energy, or whatever the kids are saying these days, when he takes the Frankie Edgar challenge at UFC 240 next month in Toronto.
