In addition to the lightning-fast featherweight affair, Randy Brown scored a late third-round TKO finish over welterweight veteran Bryan Barberena, “Violent Bob Ross” Luis Pena pained his best Octagon picture yet with a third-round stoppage over a returning Matt Wiman, Jairzinho Rozenstruick scored the second fastest knockout in UFC heavyweight history with a nine-second shellacking of Allen Crowder, and the debuting Deron Winn captured victory over late-notice filler Eric Spicely in a highly-entertaining “Prelims” opener.
