If you think Dana White isn’t about the fans, the brash head honcho of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) may change your mind a bit after revealing that the general public can show up to all the Tuesday Night Contender Series (DWTNCS) shows and walk right into the door for free.

It’s actually something that’s been going on for some time.

In fact, White says fight fans have randomly stopped by the old Ultimate Fighter (TUF) gym in Las Vegas, Nevada and he’s let them in to check out all of the action free of charge.

Talking to Dana White more about it now, he says public is invited to Contender Series. Just show up. No ticket necessary. Says random people have occasionally showed up to fights at the TUF gym for years and he’s always let them in. I had never heard/noticed that before.

Of course, now that the cat is out of the bag, he can expect the gym -- which is now located in the new UFC Apex Center in “Sin City” — to get a bit more of a crowd, which could lead to some restriction moving forward.

For now, White says anyone in the Las Vegas area can pop up and check out some free fights every Tuesday night. The news season of DWTNCS premieres tonight (Tues., June 18, 2019) can be seen on ESPN+.
