Welcome to Midnight Mania!
B.J. Penn’s seven-fight winless skid is the longest in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) history.
Which begs the question, why are we still doing this? Why is Penn booked to compete at UFC 237 this weekend (Sat., May 11, 2019) against Clay Guida, who will almost certainly out-wrestle him to another loss.
You could blame the fight camps that still allow Penn to train with them, but if he weren’t there, he would still be training somewhere else.
Lastly, you could blame UFC for not putting Penn out to pasture long ago. Perhaps, however, the reasoning there is the same: Penn would be fighting somewhere else — like Chuck Liddell — if UFC were to cut him.
Lastly, you could blame Penn himself, who is facing several life issues. The former Lightweight and Welterweight champion now seemingly uses training camps as a way to structure his life. Someone in his life needs to have one of those moments Joe Rogan had with Brendan Schaub. We need to be done with this. At some point, enough is enough.

Ben Askren and Jordan Burroughs talk about that time Burroughs smashed Askren by out-wrestling him.
The moment Mike Perry lost his balance on his throw was hilarious:
Everyone who has been to a jiu-jitsu class knows this:
