Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos made it seven in a row earlier tonight (Sat., Mar. 9, 2019) at UFC on ESPN+ 4 from inside the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas, when he choked out rising welterweight contender Curtis Millender via first-round rear-naked choke.
The Brazilian didn’t waste a lot of time before securing a takedown and bringing Millender to the canvas. Once there, Zaleski dos Santos sliced through the defense of Millender en route to gaining full mount. Millender turned over and gave up his back, allowing “Capoeira” to sink in the choke and secure the finish.

With this performance, Zaleski dos Santos extends his current win streak to an impressive seven. He hasn’t lost since dropping a split decision to Nicolas Dalby four years ago in his UFC debut. The 32-year-old finisher is one of the most dangerous fighters in the welterweight division right now and should land, at the very least, a top 10 opponent his next time out.
