Niko Price rebounded in fashion earlier tonight (Sat., Mar. 9, 2019) at UFC on ESPN+ 4 from inside the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas, when he finished welterweight veteran Tim Means via first-round knockout.
While Means delivered huge straight left hands that continue to snap Price’s head back, “Hybrid” shook it off and found his own power shot. Price launched a ferocious counter right hook that shocked Means and sent him to the canvas. Price followed up with a big right hand and some hammer fists that ultimately forced the referee to step in.

With this performance, Price gets back in the 170-pound win column after suffering a 43-second knockout defeat at the hands of Abdul Razak Alhassan back in September. Price has made some nutritional changes outside of the Octagon that has made his weigh cut much easier and healthier, so maybe it also had a positive effect on his durability tonight against “Dirty Bird.”
