Pic: UFC on ESPN 2 official poster drops for ‘Barboza vs. Gaethje’

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is preparing for the upcoming UFC on ESPN 2 event, going down Saturday, Mar. 30, 2019 live on ESPN from inside Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Leading the way is a main event clash between lightweight finishers Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje. Barboza, who is coming off vicious TKO finish over New Zealand prospect Dan Hooker, will be headlining just his second UFC event in nine years. Gaethje, who finished rising contender James Vick his last time out, is looking for sustained success inside of the Octagon after dropping back-to-back knockout defeats to Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier in 2017-2018. It will be the fourth time in five fights that “Highlight” is serving as the main attraction.

With less than a few weeks before Barboza and Gaethje collide in a sure-fire Fight of the Night showdown, UFC has released the first official poster for the promotion’s second stop on ESPN (shown above).

Also taking place at UFC Philadelphia is an important 115-pound clash between former women’s strawweight title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz and the ultra-talented Michelle Waterson. If “Karatie Hottie” is able to get past Kowalkiewicz and extend his current win streak to three it may very well lead to her first UFC title shot.
