Edson Barboza vs Justin Gaethje staredown video from UFC on ESPN 2 weigh ins

Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight contender, Edson Barboza, will throw down against fellow 155-pound title hopeful, Justin Gaethje, in the UFC on ESPN 2 five-round main event tomorrow night (Sat., March 30, 2019) on ESPN from inside Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Watch Barboza and Gaethje come face-to-face at the conclusion of today’s UFC on ESPN 2 weigh in event in the embedded video above (get all the scale-tipping results right here).

Barboza (20-6) recently snapped a two-fight skid after dominating Dan Hooker at UFC on FOX 31 last December. The Brazilian bomber has garnered a reputation as one of the most vicious and technical strikers in mixed martial arts (MMA), which no doubt plays right into the gameplan of his opponent.

Gaethje (19-2) also got back on the winning track in his most recent outing by knocking out James Vick in just 87 seconds last August in Lincoln, Nebraska. As expected, “The Highlight” scored another $50,000 “Performance of the Night” check after making quick work of “The Texecutioner,” reestablishing his place among the 155-pound elite.

Nothing left to do now except fight! will deliver LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire UFC on ESPN 2 fight card TONIGHT (click here), starting with the ESPN+ “Prelims” matches online, which are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET, then the remaining undercard balance on ESPN at 5 p.m. ET, before the ESPN main card start time at 7 p.m. ET.
