Bellator 221: “Chandler vs. Pitbull” goes down at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., on May 11, 2019, streaming exclusively on DAZN. “Iron” Michael Chandler (19-4) puts his Lightweight title on the line in the main event against Featherweight champion “Pitbull” Patricio Freire (28-4). “Champ Vs. Champ” match ups always get the mixed martial arts (MMA) community buzzing, but there’s another bee, Dillon Danis, who is ready to sting in the Chicago area.
Coincidentally, he debuted in the same venue last year at Bellator 198.

In his second professional fight to date, Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist “El Jefe” Dillon Danis will face Max Humphrey, who is is 3-2 as a professional; however, as an amateur his record is 1-4, which has led some people to joke that Danis is facing an opponent who is just 4-6 overall.

“Funky” Ben Askren (19-0, 1 NC) has been having a field day with his #BoomRoasted digs at Danis on social media. The former ONE FC Welterweight champion recently made his successful UFC debut, but that hasn’t stopped Askren from destroying Danis every chance he gets online.
