Ultimate Fighting championship (UFC) welterweight, Gunnar Nelson, is gearing up for the UFC Fight Night 147 mixed martial arts (MMA) event this Sat. night (March 16, 2019) on ESPN+ from inside O2 Arena in London, England, with a weird new dance video that is perhaps designed to rattle 170-pound opponent, Leon Edwards.
I’ve seen some of the other websites carrying on about how “hilarious” this parody is, I guess because Nelson is otherwise stoic, but how many of these does he plan on cranking out? I’ve already seen him dancing to ”Beat It” by Michael Jackson, as well as ”Sorry” by Justin Bieber. And there’s also that weird commercial where he gets snapped in the ass with a towel.
My favorite Nelson videos are the ones that have “Gunni” choking the blood from opponents who think they can survive his top-shelf grappling (Exhibit A). I could do with more of those and less of the Dance Fever, please and thank you.
