UFC 234 ‘Embedded’ video, Ep. 4: Robert Whittaker is dangerous on a bad day

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is just a couple more days away from staging it’s first pay-per-view (PPV) event of the year as UFC 234: “Whittaker vs Gastelum,” — that’s right, they skipped UFC 233 — is set to go down inside Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia.

Headlining the event will be a Middleweight title fight that will see current champion Robert Whittaker attempt to prevent Kelvin Gastelum from winning his first-ever world title in mixed martial arts (MMA). After not getting the opportunity to fight for a strap at Welterweight, Kelvin moved up and worked his way up the ladder to get his first shot.

Whittaker, meanwhile, is looking to prove that he is still at the top of his game despite a lengthy layoff.

In the co-headlining act, Anderson Silva looks to get back into the win column when he faces up-and-coming middleweight contender Israel Adesanya in what is truly “The Last Stylebender’s” toughest matchup to date.

Before all of the headlining acts get it on Saturday night, take a look at their last-minute preparations ahead of fight night. From the official YouTube description.

On Episode 4 of UFC 234 Embedded, middleweight title challenger Kelvin Gastelum takes in street art before an in-room workout attended by flyweight champion Henry Cejudo. Middleweight champion Robert Whittaker arrives in Melbourne and hosts media at an open gym session. Flyweight Montana De La Rosa trains with teammate and Invicta champion Jinh Yu Frey, as opponent Nadia Kassem talks treadmill vs. street and salad vs. burgers.
