Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held its traditional open workouts on Thursday ahead of this weekend’s UFC 234 pay-per-view (PPV) event, locked and loaded for Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

That said, I’m not sure “traditional” is a word I would use describe some of the moves on display “Down Under,” as middleweight co-headliner, Israel Adesanya, dropped his sparring partner with a pair of pro wrestling finishers.

“The Last Stylebender” first uncorked the “Stunner,” popularized by “Stone Cold” Steve Anderson Austin, then followed it up by hitting the “Rock Bottom,” made famous by none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Also taking the stage ahead of Saturday night’s UFC 234 extravaganza, which you can stream on Amazon by clicking here, were event headliners Robert Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum, who collide across five rounds for “The Reaper’s” 185-pound strap.
