Those jerks at USADA cost Tyron Woodley $10k, dates with Meek and Snoop

Not every Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight enrolled in the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) program is willing to drop what they’re doing for a random drug test, but for those who are, it can be a huge inconvenience.

Just ask this foul-mouthed fighter.

That includes reigning UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, who missed out on his paid chance to hangout with music moguls Meek Mill and Snoop Dogg, thanks to an ill-timed drug test that occurred during Super Bowl weekend.

“They tested me Super Bowl weekend,” Woodley said (via MMA Fighting). “The lady came to me, bless her soul, because I said a few unchoice words to her. But with respect. She came to test me at 12 a.m. on Super Bowl weekend and I had some appearances that I was supposed to be at. I had an event with [NFL player] Devonte Freeman and Meek Mill I was supposed to be at, an event with Ludacris and an event with Snoop Dogg.”

The pay for those appearances was $10,000.

“She said, ‘Oh, I can meet you there.’” Woodley continued. “I said, ‘No, you can’t get in, you can’t get on the list.’”

If you’re wondering why “The Chosen One” is rubbing elbows with some of the biggest names in hip hop; well, you probably missed Woodley’s latest smash hit (he’s a rapper now) that has taken the rap world by storm.

Just kidding, it’s awful.

“I was in the hotel waiting on her to come in 45 minutes of traffic to test me. So, she tested me around 1 a.m. And I missed those events,” Woodley said. “So I asked her, I said, ‘Why can’t you test me in the morning? I’m gonna be here.’ [She said,] ‘Oh let me call them and ask them if I can test you in the morning.’ They said, ’No, I gotta test you now.’”

Woodley defends his welterweight title against Kamaru Usman in the UFC 235 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event, scheduled for this Sat. night (March 2, 2019) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
