Johnny Walker continued to dazzle earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 2, 2019) at UFC on ESPN+ 2 live on ESPN+ from inside Northeast Olympic Training Center in Fortaleza, Brazil, when he stopped light heavyweight Justin Ledet via TKO (spinning back fist and punches) just 15 seconds into the very first round.
Evident by the stoppage, Walker didn’t need much time to finish Ledet. The Brazilian threw up a hook kick that brushed Ledet on the head and then followed it up with a spinning back fist. The strike connected flush and Ledet dropped to the canvas. An illegal kick from Walker narrowly missed as he piled on hard punches from the top before the referee stoppage.

With this performance, Walker proves yet again that he may be the next big thing at 205 pounds. This victory extends his current win streak to eight and pushes his career knockout total to 13 in just 16 wins. Walker is going to get a major step up in competition his next time out and fight fans will really get an idea of what the 26-year-old is capable of in a division desperate for new contenders.
