We are just 24 hours away from UFC’s big debut on ESPN tomorrow night (Sun., Feb. 17, 2019) from inside Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, as Francis Ngannou and Cain Velasquez collide in a massive heavyweight headliner.
But before the two heavyweights lead a loaded ESPN card, they met each other on stage earlier tonight for UFC on ESPN 1’s ceremonial weigh ins. Ngannou and Velasquez already hit the heavyweight benchmark during the early weigh ins (results here), but fight fans were able to get a final look at the two stars before their anticipated showdown tomorrow night.
Check out above for the official Ngannou vs. Velasquez staredown video courtesy of UFC.
Also gracing the ESPN main card is a co-main event clash between lightweight contenders James Vick and Paul Felder. The 155-pound strikers successfully tipped the scales earlier today before engaging in their own intense face off, which can be seen below:

Staredowns are in the books, which means there’s nothing left to do except fight.
