Francis Ngannou vs Cain Velasquez staredown video from UFC on ESPN media day

Former title contender against ex-champion.

Francis Ngannou will look to get himself back into the heavyweight title hunt by turning away Cain Velasquez in the main event of this Sunday night’s (Feb. 17, 2019) UFC on ESPN 1 fight card from inside Talking Stick Resort & Casino in Phoenix, Arizona.

UFC officials brought the heavyweight headliners in front of the mixed martial arts (MMA) media on Friday, where they answered questions about the promotion’s debut on “The Worldwide Leader in Sports,” among other things.

Like this.

When all was said and done, Ngannou and Velasquez came face-to-face for the official staredowns, as did lightweight co-headliners Paul Felder and James Vick. Watch the action take place in the embedded video above.
