Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) newcomer Ben Askren has made it a habit to roast any and everybody on social media, as the “Funky” one always has insults and comebacks lined up for anyone who dares cross him.

See examples here, here and here.

UFC’s social media team, though, may have just gotten the best of Askren. Earlier today (Wed., Feb. 13, 2019), Ben took to Twitter to call out the promotion for still not having a proper picture of him to promote his upcoming fight against Robbie Lawler at UFC 235 on March 2, 2019. So when he asked the promotion to step its game up, they did.

And it was glorious:

Askren, though, can take it as well as he can dish it:

“Funky” put aside his differences with the world’s leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion last year after he was involved in the sport’s first-ever blockbuster trade which included former UFC Flyweight champion, Demetrious Johnson.

Ben didn’t waste time in making new friends within the promotion, as he called out pretty much every single fighter in his division all while doing a great job at getting under people’s skin.

First up for the wrestling powerhouse is a 170-pound showdown against former division champion Robbie Lawler, who will be fighting for the first time since December of 2017. To see who else is competing at UFC 235: “Jones vs Smith” click here.
