Nick Diaz recently conducted a rare interview to talk about a bevy of subjects. One of the topics discussed was UFC 244, where Jorge Masvidal defeated his younger brother, Nate Diaz, on Nov. 2, 2019, in New York City.
Also, according to Diaz, he is the real “BMF” in the fight game and “Gamebred” threatening to baptize his baby brother was super-unnecessary. Now, Masvidal is offering up a response ... a very animated response at that.
From his manager, Malki Kawa:
And yes, this video was created and published with Masvidal’s approval.
While the elder Diaz and Masvidal were briefly linked to fight at UFC 235 earlier this year, the potential bout was scrapped and talks of possible return for the Stockton slugger died down. Nevertheless, this is a pretty good restart if the promotion wants to hype a potential clash between these two combatants. Especially when coupled with Masvidal’s win over Nate at UFC 244 via doctor’s stoppage.
But according to UFC President Dana White, holding your breath for a possible comeback for the enigmatic older Diaz will be all for naught.
