UFC 244 early weigh-in results, live video updates from New York

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is just over 24 hours away from its upcoming UFC 244: “Masvidal vs. Diaz” pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place tomorrow night (Sat., Nov. 2, 2019) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Headlining the UFC 244 main event is the welterweight showdown between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz, who compete for the title of “Baddest Mother Fucker” in all of mixed martial arts. But before any hands can be thrown, both fighters have to make weight.

Just like every other combatant on the “Big Apple” fight card.

Jared Cannonier, who was asked to fill in for Darren Till in case “The Gorilla” was held up by visa issues, tipped the scale at 186.8, which is slightly over the middleweight limit, but still pretty damn close considering he was put on standby on such short notice.

UFC 244’s early weigh-ins will commence at 9 a.m. ET in the embedded video above. Be sure to check back at 6 p.m. ET for the ceremonial festivities, open to the public, featuring all the fighter staredowns.
