To the victor belong the spoils.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) crowned its newest “champ champ” in the wake of the UFC 232 pay-per-view (PPV) event last weekend in California, after reigning women’s bantamweight titleholder, Amanda Nunes, moved up to 145 pounds to capture the featherweight strap from Cristiane Justino.
Watch the highlights here.
Following her first-round knockout win over “Cyborg,” the 17-4 Brazilian made room above her mantle for its latest addition, alongside previous belts earned in victories over ex-champions Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey, just to name a few.
And let’s not forget the two for her convertible.

With no featherweight rankings listed for UFC, and a “Cyborg” rematch taken off the table, it’s probable that Nunes will return to the bantamweight division for her next title defense. The top two contenders are Germain de Randamie and Holly Holm.
“Lioness” finished the “Iron Lady” back in 2013, but has yet to fight Holm.
