Bellator 214:“Fedor vs. Bader” took place January 26, 2019 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. The main event saw Ryan Bader destroy Fedor Emelianenko (watch it) to win the Heavyweight Grand Prix and capture his second Bellator MMA world championship.
Paramount Network has furnished what it classifies as “early” ratings for the event. The show as a whole averaged 697,000 viewers, with a peak of 1.2 million for the Ryan Bader vs. Fedor Emelianenko fight at 11:34 p.m. ET. Obviously, if the fight had gone longer than 35 seconds there’s a good chance this number would have grown.
As for the two fights that preceded it, both of which also ended in the first round, Aaron Pico vs. Henry Corrales peaked at 808,000 viewers (watch it), while Jake Hager vs. J.W. Kiser did slightly better by peaking at 809,000 viewers.
